I had a really bad sleeping experience over 10 years with gradual increase of uncontrolled snoring, gradually developed high BP & eventually diabetes, all due to Obstructive Sleep Apnea that was undiagnosed till Dr Rashmi got involved.

This was creating a life risk for me with lot of side effects and also creating disturbance sleeping for all family members over many years.

Dr Rashmi generated confidence to my family & me. It also helped that I was so distressed by that point that I was mentally prepared to do anything for alleviating the multiple health issues in life and mental load due to lack of uninterrupted sleep over the years.

I had 3 surgeries (Septoplasty with minimal FESS, Tonsillectomy, and Bridge Pharyngoplasty) by Doc Menon over a 5 hour period at Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai. 3 days stay was needed.

The nose surgery after effect was not at all painful unless you accidentally hit your nose, but the throat surgery after effects are a bit painful for about 1 week or 10 days max. One must have the larger objective in mind (life saving) and not crib about a minor pain during swallowing for 7 to 10 days, even the doc appreciated that I did not ask for additional pain killers. I was so grateful for the medical solution provided that I literally ignored the momentary pain for short while.

Apollo hospital was also professional in terms of medical services, but their support arms, i.e. the pantry services were not upto the mark about correct diet to a diabetic recovering patient. So in my mind the ratings are as follows -

Dr Rashmi - 11/10 (+1 marks for saving my life).

Apollo Hospital medical services - 10/10 (gave alternate cost options also, if patients need it).

Apollo Pantry - 2/10 (Cannot follow simple instructions from doctor).

My son Aaradhya (6 yrs old) was suffering from Adenoids due to which he was not able to breathe. We took various allopathy treatments but to no avail. We found Dr. Rashmi Menon on Practo website and thought of visiting her. In the 1st visit itself she made my son very comfortable and explained us the issue in detail. The best part is my son was also always ready to go to the doctor anytime for treatment due to the comfort level provided by the doctor. She initially gave medicines for nearly 2 months to see if the problem can be resolved through medication. But the issue with my son was a bit bigger as his adenoids had enlarged to a very high extent plus due to this there was fluid which was flowing into his ear affecting his hearing ability.

Finally the doctor took a call to get him operated. We agreed with the doctor and went ahead with the operation. My son had got so comfortable with the doctor that, he was okay getting operated, provided the operation was done by Dr. Rashmi Menon. She herself conducted the surgery on my son and she used a new method called cobulation because of which post surgery there would be very minimal pain in the throat. Adenoids were operated, tonsils were removed and also the fluid in the ear was removed. The operation was successful and today we are so happy to see our son do all the regular activities which he wasn't able to do earlier. His breathing is now perfect like normal people.

We are so thankful to Dr. Rashmi Menon for all the guidance, bearing with our questions and making the surgery a success.

The experience was good. I was having pain in my left Ear from 3 days which i ignored. But gradually the pain started increasing. Simultaneously I started feeling pain in my teeth and head. I went to doctor she diagonised me very properly. As told me the reasons why it might have happened and also how to avoid getting the same in future. I was having terrific ear pain. On meeting the doctor I realised it was due to fungal infection. The doctor very carefully cleaned my ear and was very patient with me even when I was having pain due to the procedure. Strongly recommend this Dr to anyone who has ENT issues

My daughter was advised to under go surgery, or else her brain will be effected and she may go into coma. She may also get her face paralyzed .
